I’ve been thinking a lot about inclusion and diversity and representation in the wedding industry. How are we being mindful of what we show on our instagram feed and the kind of stylized work we put out there? How about the clients we draw in and who we reach?
I have a link in my profile about how to be an inclusive wedding professional that I found on @catalystwedco and I think everyone that is in the wedding industry needs to take a read. You can’t be inclusive in the industry if you don’t have an inclusive and diverse group of people around you.
Step outside of your comfort zone, get to know people of other cultures and work with people that don’t look like you. If you do a lot of stylized sessions, choose with intentions.
It’s 2019 and we can all do better.
After all the photos are done and you’re just feeling relaxed. Happy Monday y’all ✨
The first hug after the first look 💕
I love it when two people in love are in sync when it comes to the dance floor ✨
When the rain goes away maybe we can enjoy moments like this one 💕
It’s tempting to think we can get through life all in our own. But if you can find a few people in your life you can depend on, it makes each day living a tad easier and better. Find your people
More forest weddings please! There’s something special about being so close to nature and outside. When possible, I always encourage my couples to go outdoors and I’d say it’s always worth it.
Clare & Jorge last night. We got a pre-storm evening and the light was just right 👌🏼
Happy Friday y’all! I’m loving all the sun we’re getting and that it finally feels like spring ✨
I love when couples hold hands like this... it’s casual but intimate at the same time. It’s so subtle and hints at something more 💕
