Happy Monday everyone! It's Thanksgiving in Canada while it's unofficially Indigenous People's Day here in the US. Whatever you're celebrating, being grateful for what we have always makes life better. I'm listening to a new podcast called The Happiness Lab and it's been challenging the way I think about happiness and what makes us happy and unhappy. What are you grateful for these days?
Happy one year to these two ❤️ I love these kinds of in-between moments. Not everything has to be picture perfect, as we all know life isn't ever like that.
In Korean tradition, the groom is challenged to a bunch of squats while carrying his bride. It's always a fun thing to watch how couples celebrate their culture and upbringing ✨
On cold days, chase after the sun and stay close to the ones you love ✨ Yesterday I met an Instagram friend in real life! @elizabethtsungphoto and I connected in 2017 when I first started my wedding business. We've managed to stay in touch and yesterday she came to Philly for a visit. So we squeezed in a couples session in the city.
Hi ! It's been a while since I've shown my face. I figure since it's my birthday I can make an introduction. Originally from Waterloo, Ontario I now live in Philadelphia. I'm loving the big city life and being in a diverse city. Birthdays are a weird thing but I'm excited and thankful for another year where I'll be challenged into growth. Hopefully entering the best year yet!
Kainaz looking stunning on her wedding day. I love that she wore a sari to honor her upbringing ✨

I am so excited it's the fall season. I love the romantic mood it brings along with all the coziness of warm drinks and comfy sweaters ✨
So grateful to have connected with these two. I know we will be friends moving forward since Brooke is also in the photography world ✨ last night was PERFECT!
One of the best parts about being a wedding photographer is all the different people you get to connect with. It's funny because I get to be part of one of the most important days for people even though I'm a stranger. I'm in Portland, Maine this weekend for a wedding so I reached out to these two and just spent a whole morning with them today. I'm super grateful for the connections and relationships. When you get into your late 20s or early 30s, it isn't easy to make friends so I know I'm lucky when it goes beyond a work relationship.
Happy one year to the lovely couple Mariyah and Aaron 💕
